Our mission, as the governing body of golf in Canada, is to promote participation in and a passion for the game while protecting its traditions and integrity.

As Canada's governing body of golf, we are passionate about the game and delight in promoting it at every opportunity. We are team players, openly involving our members as well as provincial organizations, club owners and operators, professional and amateur golfers and others in initiatives and decisions that will affect the game of which we are all a part.

Our organization was founded in 1895 to govern and help develop the game in Canada. We are proud of our history, but we don't live in the past. We are straight forward and honest about our interests and the game that we love. We take our responsibility for protecting and shaping it very seriously. We believe that the future of golf is best served by closely observing and enforcing theses traditions and rules.

Our stakeholders can depend on us to knowledgeably, professionally and proactively build interest in, and excitement around the game in Canada.
