Description:
Estonian Golf Association (EGA) endeavours to encourage and to forward the development of golf in Estonia.
To be successful, Estonian Golf Association:
* unites golf clubs and other forms of golf organizations
* annually organizes the Estonian Open Championship
* arranges national competitions, qualifying and other events
* maintains and forwards a collective handicap system
* works with other national and international golf institutions
* develops and conducts the activity of the association in the best possible way
Estonian Golf Association receives income from annual membership fees of member institutions as well as from sponsorship.
EGA was formed in 1992.
