The Western Pennsylvania Golf Association is the steward of amateur golf in the western Pennsylvania, an association of Member Clubs and their individual members working together for the good of the game. The Association was founded by five Pittsburgh clubs in 1899, and is one of the oldest amateur golf associations in the country.
The Association's primary missions are Championship, Handicapping, and Membership Services, as well as the administration of the WPGA Scholarship Fund to provide tuition assistance to Member Club employees, and Educational programs are offered every year to our growing membership.
